This piece already had some natural character, but we felt it needed a little something extra. We started by adding a few birds from the Iron Orchid Designs Bird Song Decor Mould™, and the leaves and branches from the Roses Decor Mould™. Then we did a layer of Country Grey Chalk Paint®, followed by a thin layer of Old White Chalk Paint® that we watered down as we were applying it. To finish, we sealed the entire piece with Annie Sloan Clear Wax and used Dark Wax for shading.
